With the help of “Homeland” Magazine, 48 Stars The Movie has launched a crowd funding campaign to raise money to finish the full length epic motion picture telling the stories of 48 people who survived the WWII era as only they can tell it.
Filmmaker Shawn Concannon has shot over 300 hours of footage and now editing has begun. Editing takes a skilled studio and that takes money. A sample of the quality that has been completed so far is available on www.48Stars.org and the task must continue.
Please go to https://gogetfunding.com/48-stars-the-movie/ and donate what you can…a dollar, 5 dollars, 10 dollars…whatever you can spare will help make this become reality which is slated for limited release on Memorial Day weekend, 2019.
Concannon, has a unique perspective as the director. “This is not only personal for service men and women everywhere of every age, but it’s personal for me too. Nearly 500 WWII vets are dying each day.
My quest to preserve history as told by those who were there started as my passion and now is my obsession.” For more information, please contact Shawn Concannon at [email protected].
